APPLICANT INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING IN THE JOB APPLICATION PROCESS

Data privacy and the protection of your personal information is very important to us. We comply with data protection regulations and wish to inform you in the following of how we process your personal data during the job application process.

2. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
Personal data may only be collected for defined, clear and legitimate purposes. The purpose of the collection of your personal data is the application process. Therefore, we will only use your personal data to process your application for employment. The legal basis of this data processing is outlined in Article 88 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Duration of storage
We store your personal data when we receive your application. If we turn down your application, we will store your applicant data for a maximum of 3 months following the completion of the application process, unless you grant us your consent to store the information for a longer period (e.g. to add your name to our pool of candidates).

If we accept your application, we will store your applicant information after receiving your consent for a maximum of up to 5 years after any termination of respective employment, unless we are legally or contractually obligated to retain the data for a longer period (e.g. for tax proof purposes).

4. Your rights as the data subject
You have general rights to information regarding your personal data or the rectification or erasure of your personal data and the right to data portability. Furthermore, you have the right to restriction of processing and the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

5. Withdrawal of consent
If you granted your consent to collect and process your personal data, you may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

6. Right to complain to supervisory authority
You have the right to file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority (Bayrisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, Phone: +49 (0) 981 53 1300).

7. Basis for providing your data
It is necessary for you to provide your data for the purposes of concluding a potential contract with us. You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide us with your data. However, since we require your personal information in order to complete the application process, a possible consequence of not providing your personal data is that we may not be able to sufficiently vet you as a candidate for employment.

8. Recipients or categories of recipients, third parties
Your personal data will not be forwarded to third parties during processing.
